Huey’s has signed a lease to open its 10th location.

The Memphis-based, family-run burger restaurant group plans to open its newest location in summer 2020 in Olive Branch.

“We hope it will be next July or August,” said Samantha Boggs Dean, Huey’s special projects coordinator.

The new Huey’s restaurant will be part of the Bridges at Camp Creek retail center at the northwest corner of Mississippi highways 302 and 178 that is being developed by Gil Ryan. The initial phase of the development is expected to be 26,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space spread over three buildings. The project is still in the design stage.

“We expect the restaurant to be about 4,100 square feet,” Dean said. “And like all our restaurants, we will be the corner spot.”

The Bridges at Camp Creek project will also include a hotel.

It will be the second North Mississippi location for Huey’s. They currently have one restaurant in Southaven in addition to the eight locations in the Memphis area.

Huey’s is run by sisters Lauren Robinson, Ashley Robilio and Samantha Dean. The “world-famous” Memphisbased burger chain was started by their father, Thomas Boggs, when he bought the bar Huey’s back in 1976 and changed the focus from drinks to being a restaurant.
