Here’s a look at promotions, hirings, movers and newsmakers in the Memphis area:

h Memphis accounting and consulting firm Reynolds, Bone & Griesbeck announced last month the addition of Taylor Barnes to its profession­al team. She joined as a staff accountant in the audit department. Barnes graduated magna cum laude from the University of Memphis in 2019, earning a Bachelor of Business Administra­tion in Accounting and Finance and, subsequent­ly, studied at Georgetown University earning a master’s degree in Sports Industry Management.

h Paul Martin, director of Health Operations at Trezevant Manor, received the 2020 Profession­al Services Award from the Tennessee Health Care Associatio­n (THCA). The award recognizes an administra­tor, owner, or corporate-level employee of a THCA member facility for distinguis­hed profession­al service. Judging is focused on how the individual contribute­s significan­tly to the positive image of the profession in the community. It also takes into considerat­ion how the individual displays leadership and a high standard of ethical behavior, contribute­s to the well-being of residents and the overall success of the facility. He joined the Trezevant team in October 2015 as administra­tor of the

Allen Morgan Health & Rehabilita­tion Center and was promoted to director of Health Operations the next year. Martin earned a master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Southern Mississipp­i.

h Crye-leike Real Estate Services principal broker Laura Gaither earned the E-PRO and the Pricing Strategy Advisor certificat­ions from the National Associatio­n of Realtors. Gaither is the managing broker of Crye-leike’s Bartlettsu­mmer Oaks branch office and specialize­s in residentia­l and estate sales throughout Shelby, Fayette and Tipton counties. The E-PRO certificat­ion offers the most up-to-date technology training for real estate profession­als. The PSA certificat­ion enhances agents’ skills in pricing properties, creating CMAS, working with appraisers and clients.

h Community Chirocare, a state-ofthe-art chiropract­ic facility led by Dr. Philip Berardi, opened July 20 at 6450 Poplar, Suite 113. It’s the second Memphis location operated by Berardi who initially was in practice with his wife Rachel since 2013 at Chiropract­ic Memphis

Health & Wellness, 3675 Summer. The new practice’s name pays homage inasmuch that all new patient fees are donated to local charitable causes through the Give Back Movement, which supports the community by helping business and local nonprofits work together for better health and the greater good. Additions to the staff are Dr. Madison Poovey and Chad Basinger, who like Berardi, will see patients at both locations. Poovey will be the primary chiropract­or at Community Chirocare. h Hollywood Feed recently launched Hollywood Feed University, a pet wellness education resource for pet owners and pet profession­als. Virtual classes are currently available free of charge and include topics such as pet nutrition, physical and emotional well-being, behavioral issues and training techniques. h Butler Snow is among more than 175 law firms that have joined a newlyforme­d Law Firm Antiracism Alliance (LFAA), a collaborat­ion aimed to identify and dismantle structural or systemic racism in the law. The LFAA aims to achieve this mission through various courses of action including the creation of large-scale, coordinate­d pro bono projects that are both immediate and long-term in scope, and the implementa­tion of legislativ­e and regulatory advocacy strategies to change laws, rules, policies and practices identified by LFAA member firms.
