Leisa Ann Ray

- Leisa Ann Ray, 53, of Cordova TN, went to her eternal home to be with her Lord on December 4, 2020. She leaves behind her husband, Jason Eric Ray, her son, Michael (Daniela) Le of San Jose, CA, and her granddaughter, Sophia Le. She is also survived by her stepdaughter Hailey Ray. Leisa was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Bouche, and her stepson, Blake Ray.

Leisa was born November 6, 1967 in Bakersfield, CA, and graduated from South Gate High School in 1986. She moved to Memphis TN and worked as an office manager at Kirby Pines and then Rikard & Neal CPAS over ten years. She met her best friend, Eric, in 2007 and they married on December 13, 2014. She had many hobbies, but enjoyed bible journaling, scrapbooking and most of all skyping with her granddaughter. She was involved with the Ovarian Cancer Awareness Foundation, serving on the board and planning and participating in fundraisers. She combined her passions of awareness and scrapbooking to hold annual scrapbooking events. She also supported the breast cancer awareness by faithfully participating in the annual walks. She was a member of Hope Presbyterian Church as well as working as a greeter.

Leisa loved life to the fullest. She may have fought against cancer, but that did not discourage her to keep fighting. She was always willing to put family and friends needs before hers. Anyone who knew Leisa would say she was warm, welcoming, kind hearted, sweet, and just beautiful inside and out. She bonded with many friends through scrapbooking and has touched the lives of so many around her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Family and friends are welcome to attend the memorial service which will be held at 6 pm on Saturday, December 19 at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave in Memphis TN. Those wishing to celebrate Leisa’s life, can make a donation to the American Cancer Society in her name.
