GERMANTOWN - James Allen Neison (81), of Germantown, TN, passed away after a brief battle with cancer on December 30, 2020 in Memphis, TN.

Memorial Services will be held 6:00pm on Monday, January 4, 2021 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Memphis, TN.

James A. Neison (Jim) was born in New Kensington, Pennsylvan­ia to Donald and Phyllis Neison on May 24, 1939. He married Carol Joyce Fetzko on June 26, 1965, and recently celebrated 55 years of marriage. He graduated from Washington and Jefferson College. He served in the Army. He retired from Dow Chemical in 2001. He was an active member of CSI (Constructi­on Specificat­ions Institute) since 1974 to present, advancing to Fellow in 2001 and continuing to serve in many key roles until his death. He was an active member of Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Memphis, TN and served his church and community weekly at Jacob’s Ladder Ministries and Worship Centre.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Carol Joyce Neison (Fetzko); his children Karen Lynn Johnson of Roanoke, TX; Sharon Louise Moonen (Philip) of Lakeland, TN; and Lisa Neison-smith (Bryan) of Grapevine, TX; his grandchild­ren Morgan Danielle Graves (Ethan) of Dallas, TX, Parker Neison Jones of Lakeland, TN, Brandon Thomas Johnson of Roanoke, TX and Franklin James Smith of Grapevine, TX. He is survived by his sisters Linda Burk of Portland, OR and Carol Brush (Curtis) of San Antonio, FL and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be given to Lord of Life Lutheran Church or charity of your choice.
