Mary Ann Kimbrough Vollmer, 82, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, December 25, 2020 after battling cancer. Mary Ann was born on September 12, 1938 in Memphis, Tennessee to James Albert Kimbrough and Ruby Gee Kimbrough. She was preceded in death by her brothers James A. Kimbrough. Jr and John C. Kimbrough.

Mary Ann attended Snowden and Central High School in Memphis, TN. She attended Louisiana State University and Southweste­rn where she was an active member of the Delta Delta Delta Sorority. In 1960, she married Richard F. Vollmer and they had two children. She was an active member of her church, Shady Grove Presbyteri­an and served as a founding Cordova Community Center Board member. She was an active participan­t in the Senior Olympics through 2019. After a career in real estate, she enjoyed helping Fields Estate Sales during her retirement years. She was a devoted mother, grandmothe­r, sister, aunt and friend to all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children Anne Bryles (Tommy), Richard Fisher Vollmer, Jr. (Kimberly). Grandchild­ren Marianne Price (Matt), Richard Fisher Vollmer, III, Ann Elizabeth Vollmer, William Thomas Bryles III, and Addison Bryles. Great grandchild­ren Ruby Grace Price, Parish Price, and Lula Kay Price.
