Celtics 122, PISTONS 120: Jayson Tatum hit a fallaway as Blake Griffin stumbled with 2.9 seconds left, then tied up the Detroit veteran on the other end to help the Celtics beat the Pistons 122-120 on Sunday for a weekend split.

Jaylen Brown led Boston with 31 points.

Lakers 108, GRIZZLIES 94: Lebron James had 22 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists, Anthony Davis added 17 points and nine rebounds and the Los Angeles Lakers opened a two-game set in Memphis with a 108-94 victory over the Grizzlies on Sunday night.

Montrezl Harrell added 16 points and nine rebounds to help the Lakers win their third straight.

Wizards 123, NETS 122: Bradley Beal had 27 points, 10 rebounds and the assist on Thomas Bryant’s go-ahead dunk with 14.9 seconds left, leading the Washington Wizards to a 123-122 victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday.

Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant missed jumpers on the last possession, dropping the Nets to 3-4.

Nuggets at TIMBERWOLV­ES, late: The Timberwolv­es averaged 8.7 steals, 5.7 blocks and 15.3 turnovers per game last season. The Nuggets averaged 26.7 assists per game on 42.0 made field goals last season.

Jazz at SPURS, late: The Spurs averaged 7.3 steals, 5.5 blocks and 12.6 turnovers per game last season. The Jazz gave up 108.8 points per game while committing 20.4 fouls last season.

Mavericks at BULLS, late: The Bulls averaged 23.2 assists per game on 39.6 made field goals last season. The Mavericks averaged 6.1 steals, 4.8 blocks and 12.7 turnovers per game last season.

Clippers at SUNS, late: The Suns averaged 113.6 points per game while allowing opponents to score 113.4 last season. The Clippers averaged 17.9 points off of turnovers, 14.2 second chance points and 50.2 bench points last season.

Trail Blazers at WARRIORS, late: The Trail Blazers defeated the Warriors 12398 in their last matchup on Jan. 1. Damian Lillard led Portland with 34 points, and Stephen Curry paced Golden State with 26 points.
