Here are the top-10 Memphis-area high school boys basketball teams, as ranked by The Commercial Appeal.

1. Christian Brothers (15-0): The Purple Wave had four scorers in double figures, including Penn commitment Reese Mcmullen who led with 20, in Tuesday's win over Bartlett. Last week: No. 1

2. Houston (10-3): Mason Miller and Johnathan Lawson combined for 41 points as the Mustangs upset Paul VI (Chantilly, Va.) at the St. James NIBC Invitation­al in Washington, DC. Last week: No. 3

3. Arlington (13-1): Arlington trailed by 20 heading into the fourth quarter against Bartlett and ended up taking their first loss of the season. Last week: No. 2

4. FACS (10-0): Daniel Egbuniwe scored 11 points and grabbed eight rebounds as the Crusaders beat Fayette Academy for their tenth straight win. Last week: No. 4 5. Bartlett (11-6): The Jacobs brothers, Terrence and Tadarius, combined for 39 points in Friday's win over Arlington extending the Panthers' winning streak to six. Last week: No. 6

6. Colliervil­le (15-4): Jordan Jenkins scored 24 points in the Dragons 60-47 win over St. Benedict. Next comes a battle with rival Houston. Last week: No. 7

7. Tipton-rosemark (7-2): Central transfer Tyler Byrd scored 24 points, but the Rebels fell to ECS in doubleover­time Tuesday night. Last week: No. 5

8. MUS (9-2): The Owls, which have won three of their last four, were idle last week. Last week: No. 9

9. Briarcrest (11-3): The Saints have lost three in a row to MAHS, Bartlett, and rival Christian Brothers. Cooper Haynes scored 18 points in the loss to CBHS. Last week: No. 8
