MEMPHIS - Beth Terry Hill passed away peacefully February 9, 2021 in Memphis, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Johnson Howard and Margie Ree Dawson Howard, brother Bill Howard and husband Carrick Hill, all of Covington, TN. Beth graduated from Byars Hall High School in Covington where she was voted Miss Byars Hall. She attended Memphis State University where she was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority and active in student life. Beth had a love for the ocean and sunshine which led her to her second home in Naples, FL. She found much joy in entertaini­ng family and friends while there and was the consummate hostess. She enjoyed antiques and opened her own shop, Antiques Et Cetera in 1986. She and her friends would travel to England a couple of times a year for market. They would go to various estate sales and fairs for furniture and other goodies for the shop. She eventually retired to be with her grandchild­ren, whom she loved dearly. Every now and again, one would spot her at horse shows jumping over the small jumps with her granddaugh­ters. She would go to volleyball games, graduation­s and anything that involved her grandchild­ren. Beth leaves her daughter, Natalie Terry Joyner (Guy) and granddaugh­ters, Emily and Julie Anne, daughter, Cindy Mccowan (Jason) and granddaugh­ters Felicia and Alexis and grandson, Colby and one great granddaugh­ter, Harper. WE LOVE AND MISS YOU MOM/DANDY! A gathering of family and friends will be Monday, February 22,2021 5 pm7 pm with a celebratio­n of life service, Tuesday, February 23,2021 10:00 am, all at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home or in lieu of flowers, a donation may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Foundation or a charity or your choice. Thank you from the family of Beth Terry Hill.
