Suns 101, HORNETS 97 (OT): The Suns led by eight points late in the fourth quarter, but Devonte’ Graham hit backto-back triples to send the game to overtime, where Phoenix pulled away on free throws and hung on for the victory. Devin Booker paced the Suns with 35 points on an otherwise cold shooting night for Phoenix. The Hornets played without star point guard Lamelo Ball and shooting guard Malik Monk.
Trail Blazers at RAPTORS, late: The Raptors are 9-11 on their home court. Toronto is sixth in the league with 14.4 fast break points per game led by Kyle Lowry averaging 3.1. The Trail Blazers have gone 13-9 away from home. Portland is at the bottom of the league recording only 20.1 assists per game led by Damian Lillard averaging 7.7. The Trail Blazers defeated the Raptors 112-111 in their last matchup on Jan. 11. CJ Mccollum led Portland with 30 points, and Pascal Siakam paced Toronto scoring 22 points.
Hawks at NUGGETS, late: The Nuggets have gone 12-9 in home games. Denver is 17-8 in games decided by 10 points or more. The Hawks are 12-13 in road games. Atlanta is eighth in the NBA with 45.9 rebounds per game. The Hawks won the last meeting 123-115 on Feb. 21. Trae Young scored 35 points to help lead Atlanta to the win. Jamal Murray leads the Nuggets with 2.7 made 3-pointers, and is averaging 21.1 points while shooting 41.3% from beyond the arc.
Magic at LAKERS, late: The Lakers are 15-10 in home games. Los Angeles is sixth in the NBA with 51.9 points in the paint led by Anthony Davis averaging 12.7. The Magic have gone 5-15 away from home. Orlando is fifth in the NBA with 35.8 defensive rebounds per game led by Cole Anthony averaging 3.6. Montrezl Harrell is shooting 64.4% and averaging 21 points over the last 10 games for Los Angeles. Michael Carter-williams is averaging nine points and 4.3 assists for the Magic.
