WEEK 7 PREVIEW

-

WASHINGTON (2-4) AT PACKERS (5-1) TV: 1 p.m. ET Sunday, Fox

Tipico Sportsbook line: Packers by 71⁄2 Washington’s keys: The pass rush, led by Chase Young, Jonathan Allen and Montez Sweat, needs to consistently disrupt Aaron Rodgers. Packers’ keys: Get the ball to playmakers on offense and get turnovers on defense. The defense is missing several starters, but the group has been piling up takeaways.

FALCONS (2-3) AT DOLPHINS (1-5)

TV: 1 p.m. ET Sunday, Fox

Tipico Sportsbook line: Falcons by 21⁄2 Falcons’ keys: Miami has been one of the worst teams in the league against the run, allowing 125.3 yards a game. Dolphins’ keys: The Dolphins need to get healthy in the secondary. CBS Xavien Howard and Byron Jones need to limit Atlanta's downfield playmakers: TE Kyle Pitts and WR Calvin Ridley.

CHIEFS (3-3) AT TITANS (4-2)

TV: 1 p.m. ET Sunday, CBS

Tipico Sportsbook line: Chiefs by 41⁄2 Chiefs’ keys: The Titans don't have anywhere near the talent needed to corral Tyreek Hill and TE Travis Kelce. Titans’ keys: Tennessee has to get RB Derrick Henry and the ground game going for multiple reasons. Chief among them is the need to keep the ball out of Chiefs' QB Patrick Mahomes' hands.

PANTHERS (3-3) AT GIANTS (1-5)

TV: 1 p.m. ET Sunday, Fox

Tipico Sportsbook line: Panthers by 21⁄2 Panthers’ keys: Even with RB Christian Mccaffrey out, Carolina should rely on RB Chuba Hubbard to pound the Giants' defense.

Giants’ keys: They are built around stopping the run. Offensively, QB Daniel Jones needs to balance protecting the ball with being aggressive downfield.

JETS (1-4) AT PATRIOTS (2-4)

TV: 1 p.m. ET Sunday, CBS

Tipico Sportsbook line: Patriots by 61⁄2 Jets’ keys: QB Zach Wilson avoiding turnovers. RB Michael Carter needs to make yards after the catch as a checkdown option.

Patriots’ keys: They need to start protecting QB Mac Jones. The rookie has had clear breakthrough moments, but protection breakdowns have also led to turnovers.

BENGALS (4-2) AT RAVENS (5-1)

TV: 1p.m. ET Sunday, CBS

Tipico Sportsbook line: Ravens by 61⁄2 Bengals’ keys: Keep QB Joe Burrow clean in the pocket. The last time a Burrow-led team faced off against Baltimore was in Week 5 of the 2020 season; the Ravens sacked him seven times. Ravens’ keys: If the Ravens can get out to a two-score lead early, it could force the Bengals to become one-dimensional.

EAGLES (2-4) AT RAIDERS (4-2)

TV: 4:05 p.m. ET Sunday, Fox

Tipico Sportsbook line: Raiders by 21⁄2 Eagles’ keys: If QB Jalen Hurts plays well, the Eagles will have a chance. However, he has been far from consistent over the last few weeks. Raiders’ keys: QB Derek Carr is at his best when he is aggressive on first down. Look for the Raiders to utilize a lot of two tight end sets to help keep Carr upright.

LIONS (0-6) AT RAMS (5-1)

TV: 4:05 p.m. ET Sunday, Fox

Tipico Sportsbook line: Rams by 151⁄2 Lions’ keys: Detroit will have to maintain possession with RBS D'andre Swift and Jamaal Williams.

Rams’ keys: The game plan should be similar to the one they installed against the Giants – the Rams ran the ball well, gaining 131 yards on the ground, and only committed one turnover.

TEXANS (1-5) AT CARDINALS (6-0)

TV: 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday, CBS

Tipico Sportsbook line: Cardinals by 171⁄2 Texans’ keys: They must sack Arizona QB Kyler Murray (who has been sacked 12 times this season), force turnovers and avoid third down.

Cardinals’ keys: They score points (32.3 per game), they don't give up points and they force turnovers (13 this season; third in the NFL).

BEARS (3-3) AT BUCCANEERS (5-1)

TV: 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday, CBS

Tipico Sportsook line: Buccaneers by 11 ⁄2

1 Bears’ keys: Look for plenty of complex blitz packages and post-snap switches to try to keep Bucs QB Tom Brady sitting in the pocket. Bucs’ keys: Brady and the star-studded offense have avoided turnovers, but penalties continue to be a problem on both sides of the ball.

COLTS (2-4) AT 49ERS (2-3)

TV: 8:20 p.m. ET Sunday, NBC

Tipico Sportsbook line: 49ers by 41⁄2 Colts’ keys: Keep riding RB Jonathan Taylor, who has four touchdowns in the last three games.

49ers’ keys: If QB Jimmy Garoppolo can efficiently get the ball to his playmakers, WR Deebo Samuel and WR Brandon Aiyuk, the 49ers should be able to move the ball.

SAINTS (3-2) AT SEAHAWKS (2-4)

TV: 8:15 p.m. ET Monday, ESPN

Tipico Sportsbook wire: Saints by 41⁄2 Saints’ keys: If QB Jameis Winston can avoid interceptions, he will give New Orleans a fighting chance to take advantage of its superior roster.

Seahawks’ keys: Defensively, the Seahawks should continue to use strong safety Jamal Adams as a pass rusher more often.
