20 BASEBALL PLAYERS TO WATCH THIS TSSAA PLAYOFFS

As TSSAA baseball district tournaments begin this week, here's a look at some players to keep an eye on this postseason.

Mason Little, Bartlett: Little has a 2.24 ERA and 50 strikeouts for the Panthers this season.

Matthew Dallas, Briarcrest: Dallas has 78 strikeouts with a 1.73 ERA this season for the Saints.

Anthony Scarpino, Christian Brothers: Scarpino has four wins on the season with a 1.83 ERA and 50 strikeouts.

John Webb, Christian Brothers: Webb is batting .439 this season with 31 RBIS. He has six wins on the mound with a 2.77 ERA and 28 strikeouts.

Cade Leatherwood, Collierville:

Leatherwood is batting .330 this season with 10 doubles and 20 RBIS for the Dragons.

Grant Ross, Collierville: Ross is batting .379 for the Dragons this season, with five home runs, 21 RBIS and 15 doubles. On the mound, he has a 1.03 ERA and 45 strikeouts.

Grayson Saunier, Collierville: Saunier has spent most of the season battling an injury, but is the Dragons' ace. As a hitter, he has a .350 average this season.

Thomas Crabtree, Collierville: Crabtree has five wins this season for the Dragons, striking out 51 batters.

Bradley Loftin, Desoto Central: Loftin has three wins on the mound this year with a 1.75 ERA and 74 strikeouts for the Jaguars.

Kristian Sprawling, Desoto Central: As the Jaguars get ready for the third round of the MHSAA playoffs,

Sprawling has been a key piece, batting .380 on the year, with four home runs and 18 RBIS.

Parker Allen, ECS: Allen has five wins on the mound for the Eagles with a 1.53 ERA and 39 strikeouts.

Evan Bloomer, FACS: Bloomer is batting .487 with two home runs and 25 RBIS for the Crusaders this season.

Chandler Day, Houston: Day leads the Memphis area with seven wins on the season on the mound for the Mustangs. He has a 1.50 ERA and 50 strikeouts.

Dean Mccalla, Houston: Mccalla is batting .442 this season with four home runs and 33 RBIS. On the mound, he's amassed four wins with a 1.52 ERA and 58 strikeouts.

Donovan Mitchell, Houston: Mitchell has been explosive for the Mustangs this season, batting in 35 runs with a .352 batting average. He also has eight doubles.

Hudson Brown, Northpoint Christian: Brown is batting .484 this season with five home runs and 41 RBIS this for the Trojans as they prepare for the Division II region tournament.

Wilson Whittemore, St. George’s: Whittemore is battling .356 on the season with 17 RBIS for the Gryphons.

Fredrick Dean, Whitehaven: Dean, a sophomore, has amassed four wins on the mound with a 1.62 ERA and 27 strikeouts.

Galvin Sims, Jr., Whitehaven: The senior middle infielder is batting .520 on the year for the Tigers with 33 RBIS, seven doubles and two home runs and two triples.

Jerry Willis, Whitehaven: Willis is batting .536 the season with 24 RBIS, eight doubles, four triples and two home runs for the Tigers.
