Barbara Pretti, 60, enjoyed retirement, but there was something she missed more. Money. The former Holiday Inn products manager wasn’t looking for something to match her old salary, just a job to make ends meet. Though she was nursing a broken ankle last year, she decided to hobble into Senior Services to find a job. Pretti had never been in sales, but the counselors at Senior Services felt she’d like that type of job. They were right. Davis is working as a sales representative for Stacey Map Corp., the business that sells Handy Map street maps. Pretti is part of the graying trend in America’s workforce.
