AMC Networks’ first traditionally animated series is this sci-fi drama based on a collection of short stories by award-winning author Ken Liu. It is centered on bullied teen Maddie (voice of Katie Chang), who receives mysterious help from someone online: a stranger soon revealed to be her recently deceased father, David (Daniel Dae Kim), whose consciousness has been uploaded to the cloud following an experimental destructive brain scan.

HBO Max h Season Finale
The comedy’s first season concludes with “Something for the Road,” written by executive producer Issa Rae and showrunner Syreeta Singleton. After the show, Mia (Kamillion) and Shawna (Aida Osman) find themselves questioning the group’s future. Later, Mia forms an unexpected connection, while Shawna considers an offer.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power

This epic fantasy series has been in development for nearly five years and is reportedly the most expensive TV series ever made – the first season is estimated to have cost over $450 million. The show takes place thousands of years before The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. It covers major events of the fictional realm’s Second Age that led to all the later drama, including the forging of the Rings of Power and the rise of the dark lord Sauron. The series’ first two episodes drop this evening.
