BRIGHTON - Dale Faulkner, 66, of Brighton, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Regional One Hospital in Memphis.

Dale was fondly known by many of his friends as “Possum”. He built and remodeled homes for many years. He was very talented and meticulous about his work. He had several hobbies; he loved to read, fish, camp, hunt, and he grew a vegetable garden every summer. Antiques were a passion he shared with his Dad. He was generous to those around him, and had great compassion for those less fortunate. As tough as he was on the outside, he had a kind and gentle spirit with a great sense of humor. Dale worshipped at Brighton Assembly of God church with his wife, Debbie.

Dale is survived by his wife of 33 years, Debbie Jackson Faulkner; two sons, Ethan Faulkner of Atoka and Garrett Faulkner of Brighton; three sisters, Carla Carr of Munford, Beverly (Johnny) Reinagel of Florida, and Lola (Mike) Forbess of Munford; his brother and sister-in-law, Carey and Renea Mcclerkin of Munford, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Arlis Faulkner, his father and mother-in-law Stanley and Joyce Jackson, one brother, Gordon Faulkner: a niece, Kara Mcclerkin and a brother-in-law Steve Carr.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, January 13 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Campground Cemetery in Drummonds.the family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
