Seniors enjoy ‘American Bandstand’ themed summer picnic
Members and guests of The Center at Spring Street at Boyertown Area Multi-Service with a maximum capacity crowd of 172 people participated in picnic games and a quilt and basket raffle. A picnicstyle lunch was prepared by Executive Chef Chris Mest and Prep Chef Ursula Wieland, assisted by a large group of volunteers. Guests enjoyed a performance of Jeff Krick and Jeffrey Krick Jr. as they entertained with music from the 50s and 60s. The “American Bandstand” themed Summer Picnic was a hit as many sang and danced to the popular music of the “Philadelphia Bandstand” days. The entertainment was sponsored in part by Family Caregivers Network of Pennsburg.
