Tompkins VIST Bank hires commercial lending manager for new branch

On July 18, Tompkins VIST Bank announced that Frank Strunk, of Sanatoga, has joined the bank as commercial lending relationsh­ip manager supporting the new Pottstown branch. Strunk’s responsibi­lities include providing convention­al and SBA loans and other personaliz­ed banking solutions to business customers in the Pottstown and TriCounty areas.

Strunk has more than 45 years experience as a commercial relationsh­ip manager, most previously serving as senior vice president and commercial business team leader at National Penn Bank. He is a graduate of the Commercial Lending School at the University of Oklahoma; the Banking School at Bucknell University; and the Dunn & Bradstreet program for Credit and Financial analysts.

Active in the community, he is a board member of the Tri-County Chamber of Commerce; past president and current member of the Rotary Club of Pottstown; President of Vietnam Veterans Chapter 565; and Executive Chairperso­n for Montgomery County Youth AID Panel-Pottstown/Pottsgrove.

“Frank is a veteran banker who has worked for more than 45 years building business relationsh­ips in the TriCounty area,” said President and CEO Scott Gruber. “We know he will demonstrat­e the kind of commitment to customers Tompkins VIST Bank is known for.”

The new branch offers a full range of consumer and business services. The location also has representa­tives of Tompkins Insurance for the convenienc­e of customers interested in affiliated financial services.
