Students learn first-hand about fair funding
State Rep. Tom Quigley, R-146th, recently visited the American Government class at Pottstown Senior High School. The focus of the presentation was on the governor’s proposed budget and the Fair Funding Formula for basic education. There was an interactive discussion on the history of education funding in Pennsylvania and what the benefits of this new funding formula will bring not only to the Pottstown School District but many districts here in the southeast.
