CENTRAL DAUPHIN 54, BOYERTOWN 21 » The Bears had their earliest exit from the PIAA Class AAA Duals in recent memory, eliminated in a preliminary-round loss to the Rams.
Boyertown (13-7) got off to a 16-point start with successive pins by Zak Reck (195) and Elijah Jones (220) following Jacob Miller’s match-opening major decision at 182. But CD, the third seed from District 3, ran off 48 unanswered points to clinch the team victory and a berth in the 16team field at Hershey’s Giant Center starting Thursday.
The District 1 fourth-seeded Bears’ final points came from Evan Mortimer’s technical fall at 160.

BOYERTOWN 104, PHOENIXVILLE 66 » The Bears captured the final six events on the way to a PAC win over the Phantoms Friday night.
Grace McKee was a four-race winner, taking top individual honors in the 200 free (2:00.51) and 100 back (1:022.23) to go along with legs in the 200 medley (1:51.85) and 400 free (3:49.27) relays. Erini Pappas was a dual-winner for Phoenixville, taking first in the 200 IM (2:09.52) and the 100 fly (58.43).

BOYERTOWN 104, PHOENIXVILLE 66 » Owen Miller finished first in three out of the meet’s first four races in leading the Bears to a PAC win over the Phantoms on Friday.
On the day, Miller finished with four overall firsts, claiming the 200 free (1:53.21) and 50 free (23.18) while swimming legs of both the 200 medley (1:43.82) and 400 free (2:57.36) relays. Nolan Benner had a pair of individual firsts for Boyertown, fishing atop the 200 IM (2:04.27) and the 100 breast (1:04.22).
