Local students to stage ‘Seussical: The Musical.’
Berks Christian School, 926 Philadelphia Ave, Birdsboro, in partnership with West-Mont Christian Academy, 873 S. Hanover St., Pottstown, is proud to present “Seussical: The Musical” on March 22 to 24.
The Cat in the Hat tells the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust that contains the Whos, including Jojo, a Who child sent off to military school for thinking too many “thinks.” Horton faces a double challenge: not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, but he must guard an abandoned egg, left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger, kidnapping and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. The BCS King’s Players 2018 production will be presented at Berks Christian School, 926 Philadelphia Ave, Birdsboro, on March 22 at 7 p.m., March 23 at 7 p.m. and March 24 at 3 p.m.
