POTTSTOWN » It was a day parents and teachers were both waiting for, and one students eyed with a mixture of anticipation and resignation — the first day back at school.
For some it represents a fresh start or a chance to reconnect with friends.
For others, it may be their final year before graduation or their very first day in class.
While meanings may vary, depending on perspective, one thing is sure — the first day of school is an American rite of passage.
