The Minster swim team had two meets last week, a dual against Fort Recovery on Dec. 22 and a mini-sprint meet on Dec. 26 at St. Marys with Fort Loramie, Versailles, Minster and St. Marys in attendance.

In their first meet of the week, Minster fell to Fort Recovery (120-165) on Dec. 23.

First place finishes for the boys included the 200 medley relay (1:45.34) team of

Nick Clune, Lucas Stammen, Ben Stammen and Joseph Magoto, Clune in the 200 free (2:03.31) and 100 breast (1:11.03), L. Stammen in the 200 IM (2:18.36) and 100 back (1:02.33), Alex Albers in the 50 free (24.16) and 500 free (5:56.90), B. Stammen in the 100 fly (1:00.29), Magoto in the 100 free (57.69), the 200 free relay (1:35.38) team of Clune, Magoto, Albers and B Stamen and the 400 free relay (3:52.43) team of L. Stammen, B. Stammen, Albers and Nate Hanson.

On the girls side, the 200 medley (2:11.89) relay team of Maggie Hemmelgarn, Ella Boate, Cameo and Chaney Cedarleaf took second, Ca. Cedarleaf took second in the 200 free (2:12.79) and 100 fly (1:13.19), Boate took second in the 200 IM (2:39.61) and 100 free (1:0616), Ashlyn Homan took third in the 500 free (8:22.68), Hemmelgarn took second in the 100 back (1:15.20) and Ch. Cedarleaf took third in the 100 breast (1:26.47).

At the mini-sprint meet on DEc. 26, an eight event meet, Minster beat Versailles (98-78), fell to St. Marys (68-108) and beat Fort Loramie.

For the Minster boys; B. Stammen won the 50 free (23.31) and 50 fly (26.63), Clune won the 50 backstroke (26.80) and L. Stammen won the 50 breast (29.62)

For the girls; Ca. Cedarleaf took third in the 50 free (27.39), second in the 50 backstroke (33.83)and fourth in the 50 fly (31.07), Hemmelgarn took third in the 50 backstroke (33.91)

For Fort Loramie, Dani Eilerman won the women’s 50 free with a time of 27.32, placed fifth in the 50 fly (32.07) and third in the 50 breast (35.06)
