Thomas N. Oldiges, 84

Thomas N. Oldiges, 84, of Minster, died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2021 at his home in Minster following a short illness. He was born June 23, 1937 in Minster to the late Edward and Margaret (Brunegraff) Oldiges. He married Judy Handley in 2000 and she survives in Minster.

He is also survived by children: Linda and Mike Luebke, Bellefontaine, Lisa and Terry Griner, Minster, Theresa and Don Luebke, Fort Loramie, Dan and Linda Oldiges, Carmel, Indiana, Matt and Krista Oldiges, Huntsville; grandchildren: Jennifer Gorham, Kristy McKirahan, Katherine Luebke, Angie Schemmel, Jack Griner, Tony Luebke, Mark Luebke, Jayna Vossler, Sarah Magato, Laura Cardimen, Kurtis Oldiges, Jonathan Oldiges, Greg Oldiges, Ben Oldiges, Ethan Oldiges, Ady Oldiges and Aiden Oldiges; 21 great-grandchildren and two on the way; brother James and Gail Oldiges, Bellefontaine.

He was preceded in death by a daughter Mary Anne; son Joseph; granddaughter Hazel Luebke; brothers Robert Oldiges along with Donald and Nancy Oldiges. Tom worked for MidMark for 30 years and was owner of Axis Corporation for 30 plus years. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, doing puzzles, spending time with grandchildren and family parities.

A funeral ceremony was held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 3, at St. Augustine Church, Minster with Rev. Deacon Roger Klosterman officiating.

Burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Everheart Hospice 230 W. Main St. Coldwater, OH 45828. Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster has been entrusted with the arrangements. Condolences may be left at HogenkampFH.com.
