4-H minutes

MINSTER — The Minster Livestock 4-H club had their third meeting Sunday, April 10, 2022, in the Minster Elementary School and these are the following minutes: The meeting started with pledges. We took roll call and went over last meeting’s minutes. A motion was moved to pay $35 to get a food permit for the Minster Oktoberfes­t. Ten music boxes were purchased for approximat­ely $400. Chance Hagaman gave his health and safety report. Lori Hagaman gave a speech on parliament­ary procedure. We got a reminder to enroll on 4- H online. We got told about 4-H camp activities. We sang a camp song. Sophia Bensman, Ava Sextro, Meghan Wiford, Mary Topp, Allie Sextro, Gianna Walter, Campbell Bergman, and Max Bergman all gave their health and safety reports. Minster Livestock’s newest member Alana Clark introduced herself. The meeting was adjourned.

The Minster Livestock 4-H club had their fourth meeting on Sunday, April 24, 2022 in the Minster Elementary School and these are the following minutes: The meeting started with pledges. We took roll call and read mat meeting’s minutes. Jakob Hagaman, Nora Homan, Abby Lamm, Katie Lamm, Kyle Lamm, Nora Lamm, Eli Zumburger all gave their health and safety reports. Everyone in our club has their project books. You can change projects until May 15 and only if your book in in perfect condition. 4-H camp is June 14-June 18, sign up soon! Camp Palmer is redoing their putt-putt golf course and Minster Livestock is sponsoring! The club bought 35 pounds of pork for the market animal buyer’s lunch. Pre-fair judging will be on June 12. If you haven’t given your health and safety report yet you will do it next meeting. For recreation we played Gianna Says (Gianna Walter’s spin on Simon Says). We sang a camp song lead by Noah Walter. The next meeting was held at the Minster Elementary School on May 15 at 7 p.m.
