William “Billy” Thom

NEW ALBANY - William (Billy) Thom left us peacefully to be with his Dad and big sister, Terri Lynn on Thursday July 29, 2021. He was a graduate of New Albany High School and loved staying in his hometown to work with his father in the family business and also established his own rental company.

Billy had a zest for life. He absolutely loved and cherished his time he spent with his family and friends. Billy could bring electricity into a room and wow, could he tell a story! He spent countless hours nurturing his fish and cultivating and staging his succulents. He also loved playing pool and taking advantage of any and all lonely pool sharks. He made an impact on all those he has touched. His memories will live with us forever.

He was predeceased by his father: Terry Thom, sister Terri Lynn Zoubul, grandparents Alex and Jo Thom, and Barringer and Marion Catlin and his uncle Steve Thom.

He is survived by his daughters: Lilly and Kyla Thom, his mother: Jane Thom, his sister: Sarah Lilly(Pat), his nephew: Bill Lilly, Nieces: Alex Latifalia(Jay), Taylor Zoubul and Catlin Miele(Matt), and his girlfriend: Jennifer Soto.

A Celebration of Billy’s life will be held at 10 AM Tuesday August 3, 2021 at the Market Street Chapel of Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes(1119 E. Market St.) with burial in SCIGraceland Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2 – 8 PM Monday.
