Some of the best violinists in the world return to Indy
Some of the most accomplished violinists to ever compete in Indianapolis are set to return. The International Violin Competition of Indianapolis has announced its Laureate Series, which includes past medalists, ensembles and genre-bending guest musicians.
The new season includes performances that were postponed due to the pandemic. On the program are classics, like Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons,” as well as newer fare from “Fiddler on the Roof.”
Single tickets, subscriptions and virtual tickets are available at violin.org, by calling 317-637-4574 or by emailing Director of Operations Mindy Miller at mindy@violin.org. Here’s the season schedule.
