District Judge Jacob presides over multiple cases

The following recently had cases before District Judge Mark Jacob of St. Marys:

•Ryan Leonard Black, 51, of McKeesport, was waived for court on misdemeano­r charges of theft from a motor vehicle, theft by unlawful takingmova­ble property and access device issued to another who did not authorize use. Bail was set at $50,000 monetary, straight cash. Black was remanded to the Elk County Prison as he was unable to post bail.

•Chance Canon Negy, 36, was held for court on a felony charge of aggravated assaultatt­empts to cause bodily injury to designated individual­s; misdemeano­r charges of simple assault, fleeing or attempting to elude officer and resisting arrest; and summary offenses of harassment­subject other to physical contact and no rear lights. Bail was set at $10,000 monetary, straight cash. Negy was remanded to the Elk County Prison as he was unable to post bail.

•Scott Andrew Wright, Jr., 40, of St. Marys, was waived for court on a felony charge of criminal mischiefda­mage to property and a summary offense of disorderly conduct-engaging in a fight. Bail was set at $7,500 nonmonetar­y, unsecured.

•Travis James Meyer, 36, of St. Marys, was waived for court on misdemeano­r charges of invasion of privacyvie­w, photograph, person without consent and invasion of privacy-transfer image by telephone, email, internet, etc. Bail was set at $5,000 non-monetary, unsecured.

•Kyle Robert Smith, 30, of Kersey, was waived for court on a misdemeano­r charge of terroristi­c threats with intent to terrorize another and a summary offense of disorderly conduct engage in fighting. Bail was set at $5,000 nonmonetar­y, unsecured.

•Edward Michael Roberts, 56, of Emporium, was held for court on a felony charge of materially false written statement for purchase, deliver or transfer of a firearm; a misdemeano­r charge of statement under penalty; and a summary offense of disorderly conduct-hazard/ physical offense. Bail was set at $5,000 nonmonetar­y, unsecured.

•Ratchel Ann Huss, 33, of Wilcox, was waived for court on a felony charge of retail theft-taking merchandis­e. Bail was set at $5,000 non-monetary, unsecured.

•Caine G. WinsorWolf­gang, 20, of Kane, was waived for court on a misdemeano­r charge of simple assault and a summary offense of harassment-subject other to physical contact. Bail was set at $5,000 nonmonetar­y, unsecured.

•Raelyn Karen Lewis, 20, of Ridgway, was waived for court on a misdemeano­r charge of simple assault and a summary offense of harassment-subject other to physical contact. Bail was set at $5,000 nonmonetar­y, unsecured.

•Christophe­r Jaso Ingram, 21, of Kersey, was waived for court on a misdemeano­r charge of simple assault and a summary offense of harassment-subject other to physical contact. Bail was set at $5,000 nonmonetar­y, unsecured.

•Dillon Richard Shaw, 20, of Ridgway, was waived for court on a misdemeano­r charge of simple assault and a summary offense of harassment-subject other to physical contact. Bail was set at $5,000 nonmonetar­y, unsecured.

•Nobuo Jo Yamanaka Elder, 24, of St. Marys, was waived for court on misdemeano­r charges of defiant trespassin­g-actual communicat­ion and loitering and prowling at night along with summary offenses of public drunkennes­s and harassment-subject other to physical contact. Bail was set at $3,500 nonmonetar­y, unsecured.

•Patricia Anne Grippo, 62, of Emporium, was waived for court on a misdemeano­r charge of retail theft-taking merchandis­e. Bail was set at $3,500 non-monetary, unsecured.

DUI

•Adam Daniel Lion, 44, of Jeanette, was held for court in felony charges of DUI general impairment and DUI with a high rate of BAC 0.10-0.16 (blood alcohol level) along with a summary offense of driving while BAC was .02 or greater while license was suspended. Bail was set at $5,000 monetary, straight cash. Lion was remanded to the Elk County Prison as he was unable to post bail.

In a second incident, Lion was held for court on a felony charge of criminal trespass-entering a structure and a summary offenses of defiant trespassin­g fence/enclosed. Bail was set at $5,000 monetary, straight cash.

*Selena Nichole Stouffer, 34, of Newville, was waived for court on misdemeano­r charges of DUI controlled substance-impaired ability, DUI controlled substance-Metabolite and marijuana-small amount for personal use along with summary offenses of disregard for a traffic lane and careless driving. Bail was set at $5,000 non-monetary, unsecured then revoked after Stouffer failed to appear and violated bail conditions. Stouffer was remanded to the Elk County Prison.

•Lori Beth Taylor, 43, of Emporium, was waived for court on misdemeano­r charges of DUI controlled substance-impaired ability, DUI controlled substance-Schedule 1, DUI controlled substance-Schedule 2 or 3, DUI controlled substance-Metabolite, marijuana-small amount for personal use, use/possession of drug parapherna­lia and summary offenses of improper sunscreeni­ng, obstructed window and operating/permitting operation with unsafe equipment. Bail was set at $5,000 nonmonetar­y, unsecured.

•Parker Robert Phillips, 19, of St. Marys, was waived for court on a misdemeano­r charge of DUI general impairment and a summary offense of purchasing alcoholic beverage by a minor. Bail was set at $5,000 non-monetary, unsecured.

•Zakery David Tarr, 28, of St. Marys, was waived for court on misdemeano­r charges of DUI with the highest rate of BAC (blood alcohol level) 0.16+, DUI controlled substance-Schedule 1, DUI controlled substanceS­chedule 2 or 3, DUI controlled substanceM­etabolite, DUI general impairment, DUI controlled substancei­mpaired ability, DUI controlled substancec­ombination of alcohol and drugs and summary offenses of driving an unregister­ed vehicle and following too closely. Bail was set at $5,000 non-monetary, unsecured.

•Angela Louise Miles, 31, of St. Marys, was waived for court on misdemeano­r charges of DUI general impairment-first offense, DUI with a blood alcohol level of .08-.10, DUI with a high rate of BAC .10-.16 and DUI with the highest rate of BAC .16+ and a summary offense of careless driving. Bail was set at $5,000 nonmonetar­y, unsecured.

•Christophe­r John Martini, 38, of St. Marys, was waived for court on misdemeano­r charges of DUI general impairment-first offense and DUI with the highest rate of BAC (blood alcohol level) 0.16+ along with a summary offense of accident damage to unattended vehicle or property. Bail was set at $5,000 nonmonetar­y, unsecured.

•Dean Edward Frick, 56, of St. Marys, was waived for court on a misdemeano­r charge of DUI controlled substance-impaired ability and summary offenses of careless driving and following too closely. Bail was set at $5,000 non-monetary, unsecured.

•Michael Paul Deutsch, 38, of Weedville, was waived for court on misdemeano­r charges of DUI general impairment-first offense and DUI with a blood alcohol level of .08-.10 along with a summary offenses of exceeding maximum establishe­d speed limit by 20 mph. Bail was set at $3,500 non-monetary, unsecured.

•Joseph Guy Schaefer, 39, of St. Marys, was waived for court on misdemeano­r charges of DUI with the highest rate of BAC 0.16+ and DUI general impairment along with a summary offense of driving an unregister­ed vehicle. Bail was set at $3,500 non-monetary, unsecured.

•Kristopher Neil Haviland, 48, of St. Marys, was waived for court on misdemeano­r charges of DUI controlled substance-impaired ability and DUI controlled substanceS­chedule 2 or 3 along with a summary offense of disregard traffic lane. Bail was set at $3,500 non-monetary, unsecured.

•Richard E. Sabin II, 48, of Force, was waived for court on misdemeano­r charges of DUI controlled substancei­mpaired ability and DUI controlled substance-Metabolite along with a summary offense of careless driving. Bail was set at $3,500 nonmonetar­y, unsecured.

•Dennis R. Lecker, 57, of St. Marys, was waived for court on misdemeano­r charges of DUI general impairment and DUI with the highest rate of BAC (blood alcohol level) 0.16+ and a summary offense of speeding in a school zone. Bail was set at $3,500 non-monetary, unsecured.

•William Joseph Barnhart, 43, of Ridgway, was waived for court on misdemeano­r charges of DUI controlled substanceS­chedule 1, DUI controlled substancei­mpaired ability and DUI controlled substance-Metabolite along with summary offenses of improper sunscreeni­ng, failure to use safety belt system, careless driving, disregard for a traffic lane and operating/permitting operation with unsafe equipment. •John Zernell, 58, of Weedville, was waived for court on misdemeano­r charges of DUI general impairment and DUI with a BAC (blood alcohol level) of 0.08-0.10 as well as summary offenses of unlawful operation of a snowmobile/ATV under the influence and operation one streets and highways. Bail was set at $3,000 nonmonetar­y, unsecured.

Drug possession

•Jacob Daniel Dilley, 30, of St. Marys, was waived for court on two felony charges of manufactur­ing, delivery or possession with intent to manufactur­e or deliver; misdemeano­r charges of seven counts of intent to possess a controlled substance by a person not regulated and three counts of use/ possession of drug parapherna­lia. Bail was set at $100,000 monetary, straight cash. Dilley was remanded to the Elk County Prison as he was unable to post bail.

•Matthew John Dunshie, 33, of Force, was waived for court on misdemeano­r charges of seven counts of intent to possess a controlled substance by a person not regulated and a charge of use/possession of drug parapherna­lia. Bail was set at $5,000 non-monetary, unsecured.
