St. Marys judge rules on array of cases
The following recently had cases before District Judge Mark Jacob of St. Marys:
•Leon Michael Pire, 19, Bradford, was waived for court on a felony charge of fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, a misdemeanor charge of DUI general impairment and summary offenses of purchasing alcoholic beverages by a minor, reckless driving, careless driving, driving wrong way and driving without a license. Bail was set at $5,000 monetary, straight cash then changed to $5,000 non-monetary, unsecured. Pire was remanded to the Elk County Prison as he was unable to post bail. He was later released on bail.
•Lance Robert Meredith, 33, of St. Marys, was waived for court on a misdemeanor charge of receiving stolen property. Bail was set at $5,000 monetary, straight cash. Meredith was remanded to the Elk County Prison as he was unable to post bail.
In a second incident, Meredith was waived for court on misdemeanor charges of use/possession of drug paraphernalia and default in required appearance. Bail was set at $5,000 monetary, straight cash. Meredith was remanded to the Elk County Prison as he was unable to post bail.
In a third incident, Meredith was waived for court on misdemeanor charges of intent to possess a controlled substance by a person not regulated and use/possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $5,000 monetary, straight cash. Meredith was remanded to the Elk County Prison as he was unable to post bail.
•Rebecca Anne Cristini, 21, of St. Marys, was waived for court on misdemeanor charges of terroristic threats with intent to terrorize and harassmentcommunicating lewd, threatening language and a summary offense of disorderly conduct obscene language/gesture. Bail was set at $5,000 non-monetary, unsecured.
•Raeanne Lee Chatfield, 39, of Kersey, waived for court on a misdemeanor charge of confined within premises of the owner and summary offenses of harboring dangerous dog-kill/injures domestic animal and vaccination against Rabies required-booster vaccination. Bail was set at $5,000 non-monetary, unsecured.
DUI
•Alyssa Marie Dowell, 29, of Johnsonburg, was waived for court on misdemeanor charges of DUI general impairment and DUI with the highest rate of BAC (blood alcohol level) 0.16+. Bail was set at $3,500 non-monetary, unsecured.
•Stephanie Ann Schatz, 36, of Johnsonburg, was waived for court on a misdemeanor charge of DUI controlled substanceimpaired ability. Bail was set at $2,500 monetary, straight cash Schatz was remanded to the Elk County Prison as she was unable to post bail.
•Eric Anthony Dinsmore, 47, of Dagus Mines, was waived for court on misdemeanor charges of DUI general impairment-first offense, DUI with a blood alcohol level (BAC) of .08-.10 and DUI with a high rate of BAC .10-.16 along with summary offenses of operating/permitting operation with unsafe equipment, careless driving, operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility, driving an unregistered vehicle and failure to carry license. Bail was set at $3,500 non-monetary, unsecured.
•Jessica Lynne Hedberg, 32, of St. Marys, was waived for court on misdemeanor charges of DUI controlled substance-Schedule 2 or 3 and DUI controlled substance-impaired ability as well as a summary offense of
disregard for a traffic lane. Bail was set at $5,000 non-monetary, unsecured.
•Tyler Robert Anzinger, 29, of Weedville, was waived for court on misdemeanor charges of DUI general impairment and DUI with the highest rate of BAC (blood alcohol level) 0.16+ as well as a summary offenses of careless driving, disregard for a traffic lane, restrictions on alcoholic beverages and failure to use a safety bet system. Bail was set at $3,500 non-monetary, unsecured.
•Rachelle Lee Vasbinder, 28, of St. Marys, was waived for court on a misdemeanor charges of DUI controlled substanceimpaired ability and use/possession of drug paraphernalia along with a summary offense of driving while operating privileges are suspended or revoked. Bail was set at $5,000 non-monetary, unsecured.
•Keivon Gatlin, 29, of Prentiss, Mississippi, was waived for court on misdemeanor charges of DUI controlled substanceSchedule 1, DUI controlled substanceMetabolite, DUI general impairment and DUI controlled substance-impaired ability along with summary offenses of disregard for a traffic lane, careless driving, violate hazard regulation, following too closely and investigation by officer/duty of operator. •Walker Thomas Meyer, 22, of St. Marys, was waived for court on misdemeanor charges of DUI general impairment, DUI with a BAC (blood alcohol level) of 0.08-0.10 and DUI with a high rate of BAC of 0.10-0.16. Bail was set at $5,000 nonmonetary, unsecured.
•Marco Thomas Paropacic, 21, of St. Marys, was waived for court on misdemeanor charges of DUI general
impairment-first offense and DUI with the highest rate of BAC (blood alcohol level) 0.16+ along with a summary offense of disregard for a traffic lane. Bail was set at $3,500 non-monetary, unsecured.
•Joel Ellis Haynes, 45, of Johnsonburg, was waived for court on misdemeanor charges of DUI general impairment-first offense and DUI with a high rate of BAC (blood alcohol level) 0.10-0.16 along with summary offenses of failure to keep right, careless driving and operating/permitting operation with unsafe equipment. Bail was set at $3,500 non-monetary, unsecured.
Drug possession
•Joseph Leonard Hollingshead, 41, of St. Marys, was waived for court on a misdemeanor charge of use/ possession of drug paraphernalia and a summary offense of operating a vehicle without valid inspection. Bail was set at $5,000 monetary, straight cash. Hollingshead was remanded to the Elk County Prison as he was unable to post bail.
•Ronald William Feldbauer, Jr. 57, of St. Marys, was waived for court on misdemeanor charges of two counts of intent to possess a controlled substance by a person not regulated and two counts of use/possession of drug paraphernalia along with a summary offense of driving while license is suspended/ revoked-second violation. Bail was set at $5,000 non-monetary, unsecured.
•George Gerard Cheatle, 44, of St. Marys, was waived for court on misdemeanor charges of three counts of intent to possess a controlled substance, three counts of use/ possession of drug paraphernalia and a summary offense of evading arrest or detention on foot.
