William Gwiazdowski

Canterbury — William J. Gwiazdowski, 75, of Route 169, passed away at home Thursday afternoon, June 12, 2014, in the company of his family after battling ongoing bouts with cancer.

Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the GagnePiechowski Funeral Home, 490 Voluntown Road, Jewett City. A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Augustine’s Church, Route 14, Canterbury. Immediately following, there will be a gathering of friends and family at church. Interment will be private.
