North Stonington — Linda (Beckwith) Gray passed away Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015, at home in Windsor, Maine, after a valiant battle with cancer, her husband Paul by her side.

Linda was born May 7, 1960, in New London to David and Jacqueline (Johnson) Beckwith of North Stonington.

Linda graduated from Wheeler High School, North Stonington, in the Class of 1979. Linda’s interests were the outdoors, camping, kayaking, gardening, reading, jigsaw puzzles and crafting. Linda was a 20-year volunteer for the South China Maine Public Library. A special memory was a visit from her son Scott, his wife, Kiara, and daughter, Lolua, spending time visiting this summer so Linda could meet and enjoy her new granddaugh­ter.

Surviving is her husband, Paul, of 33 years; son, Scott of Bogar, Indonesia; and daughter, Jacqueline of China, Maine; her twin brother, David, of Mystic; brothers Brian and his wife, Sheila, of Rhode Island, Paul and his wife, Karen, of Griswold, and Paul’s sons, Matthew and Kevin; sisters, Lori and Jacqueline of North Stonington; Jacquie’s husband, Chris Kinard, and twins Shawn and Jack. Paul’s mother, Nancy Gray; brothers Chip and Nathanial; and sister, Penny Gray, also survive her.

Arrangemen­ts are under the care of Staples Funeral Home, 53 Brunswick Ave., Gardiner, Maine.
