Thirty-years ago Friday, Red Sox righthander Rogers Clemens set a major league record with 20 strikeouts in a 3-1 win over Seattle in Fenway Park.
It was the first of two strikeout games in his career. He also did it while still with Boston against the Tigers in Detroit on September 18, 1996.
