Paula Reddington

Groton — Paula J. Reddington of Groton, formerly of Billerica, Mass., and Reno, Nev., born in Everett, Mass., on April 19, 1945, passed unexpected­ly into eternal life on April 30, 2016. She is the daughter of the late Everett N. Reddington Sr. and Marcia E. (Stevens) Reddington. She was predecease­d by her sisters, Marcia “Cookie” Brennan and Diane Zebny.

Paula is survived by her daughter, Sharon Tracia and her husband, Louis, of Shrewsbury, Mass., her son, Richard Ogonowsky and his wife, Heather, of Centervill­e, Mass., and her daughter, Cindi Bryte and her husband, David, of Groton. She is survived by her grandchild­ren, Cameron Tracia, Lauren and Olivia Ogonowsky, Joshua and Sierra Bryte; her brother, Everett Reddington and his wife, Irene, of Billerica; and her sister, Norma Doucette and her husband, John, of Litchfield, N.H.; as well as her former husband, Richard Ogonowsky of San Mateo, Calif.; her brother-in-law, David Zebny of Naples, Fla.; and an extended family of many beloved nieces and nephews and great-nieces and -nephews, as well as many dear friends near and far.

Paula graduated from Billerica Memorial High School in 1963. She made her home in many places, but Billerica and Reno were where she considered home. She worked at Harrah’s in Reno and New Orleans, and then the Silver Legacy in Reno as the wardrobe manager. Paula moved to Groton in 1999, where she took over as uniform operations manager of Foxwoods. She loved her family and was so proud of her children and grandchild­ren. They were her pride and joy.

A celebratio­n of Paula’s life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, at the First Congregati­onal Church in Billerica, Mass.
