Ralph Bollenbach

East Lyme — Ralph Frederick Bollenbach, 75, of East Lyme passed away peacefully after a two-year battle with cancer at Bayview Health Center of Waterford on Sept. 19, 2016.

He was born in New London on Nov. 21, 1940, the son of Ernest and Evelyn Bollenbach of East Lyme.

Ralph is survived by his wife, Sandy, and his six children, Tina Liebig of East Lyme, Dana Jordan of Jacksonville, Fla., Christopher Bollenbach of Stapleton, Neb., Ralph Bollenbach Jr. of Waterford, Ryan Bollenbach of Niantic and Kyle Bollenbach of Massachusetts.

He was predeceased by his parents, and sister, Linda.

He is also survived by his brother, Mark Bollenbach; and sister, Susan Bindloss of Niantic; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family would like to express its deepest thanks to Dr. Dennis Slater of Echo Cancer Foundation and all the staff at Bayview for their sincere compassion and exceptional care.

There are no calling hours. A private burial service will be held at a later date.
