DO YOU LOVE BOOKS AND FOOD?

The Bill Memorial Library and The Friends of the Bill Memorial Library will host the inaugural meeting of the Cookbook Book Group on Thursday, Oct. 13, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the library.

Participants will prepare the recipe that they picked up at the library at the September kickoff and bring it to share. Those who haven’t picked up a recipe yet can select one at the Bill Memorial Library until Sept. 30. Call the library at (860) 445-0392 with any questions.

The group also will discuss the dishes and the books that inspired them.
