Phyllis Heath

Uncasville — Phyllis Rita Greenwood Heath passed peacefully on Saturday. She was born on Dec. 13, 1932, to Philip and Doris (Denomme) Greenwood.

She served as Lector and Eucharistic Minister at St. John the Evangelist Church, as well as housekeeper to the rectory until her retirement. She is survived by her ex-husband, Calvin Hosea Heath, and her 10 children and their families.

A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on April 4 at the Cathedral of St. Patrick, 213 Broadway, Norwich, with burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery. There is a calling hour from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. prior to the Mass at Labenski Funeral Home, 107 Boswell Ave., Norwich.
