POLICE ID BODY FOUND IN NEW LONDON CEMETERY

New London — Police have identified the man whose body was discovered in a city cemetery Tuesday morning.

Glenn A. Cochrane, 53, is the deceased.

According to police, a caller reported about 8:30 a.m. that there was a man’s body behind a storage facility on the grounds of Cedar Grove Cemetery. Police described the facility as being at the back end of the property. The cemetery’s main entrance is at 638 Broad St.

Emergency personnel responded and pronounced Cochrane dead at the scene.

Capt. Todd Bergeson previously said police do not believe any foul play was involved in Cochrane’s death.
