When the Benton's Knoll project began, its initial marketing analysis and designs were spot-on in meeting the needs and desires of buyers. Six homes, including the model home, have been built and sold to date, and Amity has begun construction of a seventh custom home designed in concert with the clients to meet their design and floor plan goals.
Since the day they first broke ground, Project Manager Russ Smith of Amity Construction & Design has noted changes in buyers' desires and the market itself. With that in mind, Smith unveils: The New Benton's Knoll.
“In order for Benton's Knoll to respond to this changing market and new buyers' wishes, we have created new plans and new pricing structures,” said Smith. “What has not changed is our commitment to quality and the overall planned association concept.”
The new designs offer the same levels of refinement, innovation and energyefficiency that have been Benton's Knoll trademarks to date. As in the case of the first six homes, total flexibility of design is provided, creating a truly custom home that suits each buyer's specific needs.
“What we have found is that our buyers are asking for more open-space floor plans, two and three bedrooms with a ‘bonus' space that can be used for multiple purposes,” said Smith. “The convenience of single-floor living on a day-to-day basis with the option for additional second floor space when needed has also been a recurring design request.”
He added: “We have acknowledged the buyers' and market's direction and requests for smaller homes with the same great details and along with more affordable sales prices.”
While each beach-inspired home is an individual, they all share a truly idyllic setting. Nestled on 15 acres of choice land on historic Sachem's Head peninsula located in the charming shoreline Town of Guilford, Benton's Knoll is a planned community that combines single-family living with care-free ownership with the homeowners' association sparing residents the tedious maintenance tasks.
