East Lyme Kevin Patel, 24, of 184 Main St., Apt. D, was charged Saturday with driving with a suspended license and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

State Police — Montville Edward L. Arteaga, 47, of 111 School St., New London, was charged Monday in New London with possession of drug paraphernalia in a drug factory, distribution of controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a school, illegal possession of narcotics and risk of injury to a child.

Manuel Arteaga, 41, of 68 Montauk Ave., New London, was charged Monday in Middletown with illegal sale of a controlled substance by a non drug-dependent person and illegal possession of narcotics.

Kraig R. Bessette, 53, of 157 Middle Road, Preston, was charged Sunday in Griswold with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to drive right.

David B. Messier, 37, of 41 S. Main St., No. 4, Jewett City, was charged Saturday in Lisbon with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Anthony C. Basilica, 27, of 54 Gardner Ave., New London, was charged Saturday in East Lyme with second-degree breach of peace and second-degree assault.

Norwich Kevin Smith, 20, of 324 Boswell Ave. was charged June 20 with driving with a suspended license and following too closely.

Jose Modesti, 43, of Windham, was charged Saturday with one count each of home invasion, disorderly conduct, third-degree assault, second-degree stalking and two counts each of violation of probation, second-degree threatening and third-degree criminal mischief.

Shae A. Hoxie, 31, of no certain address, was charged Sunday with violation of probation, fifth-degree larceny, possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal impersonation and two counts each of possession of narcotics and second-degree failure to appear in court.

Douglas Greenhalgh, 64, of 75 Coit St., No. 1, was charged Saturday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance, misuse of plates and driving an unregistered motor vehicle.

Jennifer Dempsey, 42, of 7 Mohegan Park Road was charged Sunday with driving with a suspended license, misuse of plates, driving an unregistered motor vehicle and driving without insurance.

Maxx Gallup, 19, of South Windham, was charged Monday with criminal mischief.

Stonington Chelsea L. Pacheco, 24, of 11 Crestview Drive, Westerly, was charged Monday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, second-degree breach of peace and third-degree criminal mischief.
