Orange Park, Fla. — Richard M. Sullivan, 70, passed away in Orange Park on Sunday, July 16, 2017.

Richard was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. in August 1946. His parents, Geraldine and Michael C. Sullivan predecease­d him. He lived his early years in Connecticu­t, graduating from Waterford High School in 1964. Richard was a star left-handed pitcher for the Waterford Lancers.

Rich then joined the U.S. Navy and served proudly for 20 years, retiring with the rank of YN 1st class petty officer. He then lived the rest of his life in Florida, never forgetting to ask us how much snow we had to shovel as he came back from a 60-degree ride on his motorcycle. He remained a fan of his New York Yankees and New York Giants even at their worst.

Rich is survived by his daughter, Teresa Sullivan; son, Patrick Sullivan and his wonderful, caring former wife, Candy, who made his last days comfortabl­e. Also surviving is his sister, Marie Boiselle of East Lyme; brothers, Michael Sullivan of Niantic and Lawrence Sullivan of Stonington.

Services with military honors were held in Florida.

Montville — Deborah Lee Lenhart of Oakdale passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, after a brief illness due to complicati­ons of Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy.

She was born Deborah Lee Parker in New London on Nov. 25, 1959.

She is survived by the love of her life, John E. Lenhart Jr.; her wonderful daughter, Jacquelyn Elizabeth; her mother, Lorraine Parker of Waterford; sisters, Karen Nunes and husband, Ed, of Oakdale, Valerie Bernier and husband, Gerald, of Niantic and Lisa Dawley and husband, Bill, of Hobe Sound, Fla. Debbie is also survived by nieces, Cara Campbell of Hobe Sound, Fla. and Mayline Walsh, her husband Nate, and their son, Leon, of Preston.

She was predecease­d by her father, Francis James “Jim” Parker Sr.; and her brother, Francis James “Jim Jim” Parker Jr.

Debbie was a graduate in the Montville High School Class of 1977 and was a retired courier for Federal Express.

There will be no calling hours and interment will be at the convenienc­e of the family.
