Mystics 77, Dream 70

Emma Meesseman scored a career-high 30 points, Kristi Toliver added 19 and Washington held on for a win over Atlanta on Sunday. Elena Delle Donne had 10 points and Krystal Thomas grabbed 15 rebounds for Washington (14-9), which has won three in a row and four of its last five. Toliver hit two 3-pointers and Meesseman scored four points during an 11-0 run that gave the Mystics a 13-4 lead midway through the first quarter and Atlanta trailed the rest of the way. A 14-4 spurt, including two more 3s by Toliver, gave Washington a 44-28 lead, its biggest of the game, with 17 seconds left in the first half. Sancho Lyttle's jumper trimmed the Dream's deficit to 74-68 with 5:09 to play, but Atlanta (10-13) scored just two points, on 1-of-10 shooting, from there. Elizabeth Williams led five Dream players in double figures with 18 points. Layshia Clarendon had 11 points and 10 assists.

Liberty 86, Sky 82

Tina Charles had 15 points and 10 rebounds, Kiah Stokes added 10 points and 16 rebounds and New York beat Chicago. Sugar Rodgers hit four 3-pointers and finished with 14 points, Epiphanny Price scored 12 points, and Shavonte Zellous had 10 for New York (12-10). The Liberty, who have won four of five, shot a season-high 53.3 percent (8 of 15) from 3-point range. Five New York players scored during a 17-4 run to open the second quarter that made it 37-26 with 5:33 left in the half and the Liberty led the rest of the way. Jessica Breland's jumper capped a 10-4 run that trimmed Chicago's deficit to 84-82 with 41 seconds left. New York got two offensive rebounds on the other end before a steal by the Sky's Stephanie Dolson, but she missed a potential tying jumper with four seconds to go. Zellous hit two free throws to seal it. Allie Quigley hit 4 of 6 from 3-point range and finished with 22 points for Chicago (8-16). Breland had 13 points and 10 rebounds while Courtney Vandersloo­t added 12 points and 10 assists. The Sky have lost three in a row.

Lynx 93, Storm 82

Sylvia Fowles had 29 points on 11-of-14 shooting and added 12 rebounds to help Minnesota beat Seattle for its sixth straight victory. Maya Moore had 24 points, and Rebekkah Brunson added 20 for WNBA-leading Minnesota (19-2). Jia Perkins, starting with Seimone Augustus out for personal reasons, had a career-high seven assists and a season-high six rebounds. Breanna Stewart's layup trimmed Seattle's deficit to 44-40 early in the third, but Fowles scored 14 points in the quarter — including a personal 10-7 run in which she converted two offensive rebounds into four second-chance points — and the Lynx went into the fourth leading 69-57. Moore had 12 points in the final quarter and her 3-pointer with 1:35 to go gave Minnesota its biggest lead, 91-65. Jewell Loyd led Seattle (10-13) with 26 points, and Breanna Stewart added 24. The Storm have lost three of four.

Sparks 95, Wings 74

Candace Parker had 23 points and 10 rebounds while Nneka Ogwumike scored 22 points to help Los Angeles cruise to a win over Dallas. Parker and Ogwumike combined to shoot 20 of 25 from the field. Chelsea Gray added 16 points, eight assists and seven rebounds for Los Angeles (17-6). Parker, who had a triple-double in her last game, scored the first six points in an 8-0 run that made it 10-3 and the Sparks led the rest of the way. Two free throws by Riquna Williams pushed the lead to 16 late in the first quarter before Dallas scored 11 of the final 15 first-half points to trail 49-42. Gray had 12 points as L.A. outscored the Wings 30-18 in the third quarter and the Sparks led by at least 20 for all but a few seconds of the fourth. Aerial Powers led Dallas (11-14) with a career-high 23 points. Skylar Diggins-Smith and Allisha Gray scored 14 apiece.

Mercury 81, Stars 64

Monique Currie scored 20 points, hitting four 3-pointers, to help Phoenix beat San Antonio. Diana Taurasi added 13 points while Danielle Robinson had 10 for Phoenix (13-10). Currie hit a 3-pointer and converted a three-point play during an 18-4 run that made it 22-8 with a minute left in the first quarter and the Mercury led the rest of the way. Isabelle Harrison's layup with pulled San Antonio within two points late in the second quarter but Robinson and Currie scored six points apiece as Phoenix scored 19 of the next 23 points to make it 54-37 with 2:59 left in the third. The Stars trailed by double figures throughout the fourth quarter. Shay Murphy scored a season-high 14 points to lead San Antonio (3-21) and Harrison had 10 points and a career-best 13 rebounds.
