East Lyme — Nancy Lee Cirillo, 79, of Waterford passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2017.

She was born Jan. 12, 1938, in Indiana, Pa., the daughter of Dr. Joseph and Mercedes Lee. She was the loving wife of George Cirillo, who survives her.

Nancy had been a longtime labor and delivery nurse at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital in New London.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her four daughters, Lori Cirillo and her partner, Robert Robinson, of Lebanon; Lisa Lord and her husband, Jeffrey, of Waterford; Linda Danesh and her husband, Abbas, of Waterford; and Maria Cavanagh of Noank. She is also survived by eight grandchild­ren, Jennifer Anglim; Jessica Sergiaconi and her husband, Anthony; Michelle Murphy and her husband, Timothy; Samantha Lord; Timothy Cavanagh and his spouse, Jeffrey Teixeira; Safa Danesh; Christina Danesh; and Joseph Danesh; and two great-grandchild­ren, Molly and Sophie Anglim.

Nancy loved her beloved dogs, and in her memory the family suggests that donations be made to the Connecticu­t Humane Society.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 13, at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons East Lyme Funeral Home, 48 Grand St., Niantic.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 14, at the St. Paul Church, Waterford. Interment will follow the service in East Lyme Cemetery.
