New London Carlos Vega, 30, of 837 Bank St., Apt. 3, was charged Sunday with second-degree assault, interferin­g with a police officer and tampering with evidence. Ledyard Zachary G. Wood, 30, of 31 Maple Ave., New London, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to drive right.

Stonington Walter A. Radicioni, 57, of Sharon, Vt., was charged Saturday with evading responsibi­lity and unsafe backing.

John S. Sawyer III, 54, of 112 Brookside Lane, Apt. 1, Pawcatuck, was charged Saturday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, driving with a suspended license and failure to drive right.

Stephen P. Moniz, 49, of 7 Bella Vista Drive, Quaker Hill, was charged Thursday with second-degree breach of peace.

Waterford Benjamin Coombs, 20, of 21 Chapel Hill Road, Oakdale, was charged Saturday with breach of peace.

Micah Allen-Doucot, 24, of 106 Thames St., New London, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, possession of drug parapherna­lia, failure to meet minimum insurance requiremen­ts and improper passing.
