LEDYARD PARKS AND REC DEPARTMENT ANNOUNCES FALL PROGRAMS

Ledyard — Registrati­on for the fall programs offered by the Parks and Recreation Department will be open starting Sept. 6.

Programs for children include Art Fun, Gymnastics, Tumblebugs, Wrestling, Golf, Sportstack­ing, Rowing, Guitar, Baking Memories, Children's Yoga, Tae Kwon Do and Horseback Riding.

Classes for adults include Yoga (Gentle, Moderate, Basics, Therapeuti­c for Backs and Hips, and Yoga Nidra), Overcoming Anxiety, Pilates and Movement, Tai Chi, Cardio-Fit, the Fitness Center, Women's Basketball, Men's Basketball, Golf, Ballroom Dance, Knitting, Quilting, CT Safe Boating Class, Men's, Women's and Co-ed Rowing, Tabata Mommas, Integrativ­e Nutrition Workshop — Lose Weight and Feel Great, Military Space Air Travel, Facebook for Beginners, Facebook Groups and Pages and How Monday Works.

They include 30 Mile Brewing Co., Anna's Cafe, Ann Lightfoot Jewelry, Essence Center for Beauty and Wellness, Essex Chocolatie­r & Coffee Bar, Florence Griswold Museum, Fromage Fine Foods & Coffees, Garde Arts Center, Judy Friday Gallery, Lark, Sennheiser, Squared Circle Studio, The Chocolate Shell, White Gate Farm and local artists such as Angie Falstrom, Diana Lord, Lina Tuck and Tina West. Matt McCauley and the Jazz Circle will also play live music.
