Martha Stewart is part of Sun Wine & Food Fest
The Sun Wine & Food Fest returns to Mohegan Sun on Jan. 26-28, with such new features as Sunday Brunch with Martha Stewart and Divine Delights, which pairs treats and dessert wines. It also includes such signature showcases as the Grand Tasting and Celebrity Chef Dine Around.
The Sunday Brunch with Martha Stewart will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 28, and tickets are $90. The event’s publicity says Stewart “hosts the ultimate feast of savory food and drink during this exclusive brunch event.”
Divine Delights, presented by E& J Gallo Winery, will be 8-11 p.m. Jan. 26, and tickets are $90. The fest also boasts:
Bourbon Tasting, presented by Beam, Inc. and Bear’s Smokehouse, 6-9 p.m. Jan. 26; $90.
The Grand Tasting, where visitors can sample over 1,000 varieties of wines and beer as well as signature dishes from the region’s most highly rated restaurants and where celebrity chef host demonstrations, noon-5 p.m. Jan. 27; $99.
Vintage Cru Tasting, tastings of “best-of-the-best” vintages from around the world and one-on-ones with the winemakers, 4-6 p.m. Jan. 27; $150 (includes the Vintage Cru Tasting and a $50 iGourmet gift card).
Celebrity Chef Dine Around, where celebrity chefs such as Alex Guarnaschelli, Rocco Dispirito and Todd English will serve up their recipes at several live cooking stations; also, wine and premium beer to complement each dish; 8-10:30 p.m.; Jan. 27; $199.
