GROTON CITY POLICE INVESTIGATING RASH OF CAR BURGLARIES

Groton — After a series of car burglaries in the city, police are asking the public to lock their doors and to come forward with any information that could help solve the crimes.

According to police, the burglaries are occurring overnight in the Groton Heights section of the city. Patrol officers and detectives have been following multiple leads in an attempt to learn who’s orchestrating the crimes.

Police are asking residents to lock their cars and leave valuables out of sight. Anyone with information is asked to call police at (860) 445-2451.
