JOURNALIST AND AUTHOR JOSHUA GREEN TALKS AT CONN COLLEGE

Journalist Joshua Green, who grew up in New London and whose book "Devil's Bargain" became a New York Times best-seller, will speak about "The Rise of Trump and the Future of Nationalism" from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Oct. 19 in Evans Hall at Connecticut College.

The Sound Lab Foundation Lecture celebrates its 20th year with Green, whose "Devil's Bargain" documents the partnership between Steve Bannon and Donald Trump and their successful campaign for the presidency.

Green will describe how he started researching his book, how Donald Trump and Steve Bannon developed a "third way" politics of populism and nationalism, and the future of the movement with Bannon's departure from the White House. A reception and book signing will follow the lecture.

Green graduated from New London High School and Connecticut College.
