Carmen Rodriguez

Groton — Carmen Rodriguez, 51, of Branford Ave., Groton, died Monday evening at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

She was born July 21, 1966, in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Gilberto and Inez Davila Villarini.

Carmen had worked as a CNA at L+M, Pendleton, Atria and Angel Cove in Niantic.

She leaves many relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at Byles Memorial Home (www.byles. com), 99 Huntington St., New London, with a calling hour beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, New London.
