LeeAnn Falconi

-

Moosup — LeeAnn Falconi was a loving mother, Grammie, Gigi, G2, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She passed away very peacefully at her sister’s home on Nov. 30, 2017, surrounded by her loved ones, after battling cancer for many years.

She was born on Jan. 30, 1962, in New London. She was a class of 1980 graduate of Waterford High School. She had various jobs throughout the years and left an impact on every person she worked with because of her kind soul and huge heart.

She was predeceased by her mother, Kathleen Chapman (Kovalik), survived by her father, LeRoy Falconi Sr., brother LeRoy Falconi Jr., sister Toni Vining (Falconi), daughter Carissa Falconi, and her very special granddaughter Ariana Falconi. She is also survived by many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

LeeAnn was someone who touched people’s hearts whether they had only met her once or had known her for years. She had a very special way of making people feel loved and accepted immediately. She was always smiling and her happy place followed her wherever she went. She loved gardening and cooking and was always ready for a night out to see live music. Her face would light up around babies and she was always willing to get on the floor to play with the little ones. Her most favorite kid of all was her granddaughter, Ariana. She loved going to her plays, concerts, parades and was so proud of Ariana’s accomplishments.

LeeAnn wouldn’t want it any other way, so please join her family at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, for a Celebration of Life at the Oakdale Fire House, located at 444 Chapel Hill Road, Oakdale. Come hungry because that’s how we roll.
