Rodrigue Dufresne

Houston, Texas — Rodrigue Allen Dufresne passed away at Legend Oaks Medical Facility in Houston, Texas, on Friday, Dec. 1, 2017.

He was born on Jan. 21, 1938, to Rodrigue and Dorothy Dufresne, and is survived by his sister, Andrea Kelley residing in Columbia. He was a caring husband, father and friend and a veteran, serving in the the Air Force before residing in East Lyme.

He is survived by Beverly, his wife of 52 years; his daughters, Cathy Bush of Cypress, Texas and Linda Brunza of Old Lyme; and four grandchildren, Trey, Caitlin, Zoe and Lana.

It was his wishes and the wishes of his family that his body has been donated to Baylor College of Medicine for research in Alzheimer’s disease.

A celebration of life will be planned in the near future.

It is the family’s wishes that any donations be made to Flanders Baptist and Community Church, 162 Boston Post Road, East Lyme, CT 06333.
