TOYS FOR TOTS HELPED MORE THAN 2,200 AREA CHILDREN

The 2017 New London County Toys for Tots campaign was another great success. The Thames River Detachment of the Marine Corps League along with the Three Rivers Young Marines distributed more than 12,000 toys, books and stocking stuffers to 2,293 New London County children this Christmas season.

This campaign was successful because of the support of Mike’s Famous Harley Davidson, Toys R Us, AC Moore, the Crystal Mall, both the Lisbon and Waterford Five Below, and the sailors from the Naval Submarine Base, as well as the many generous people who made donations to this year’s campaign.
