Clara Pietrzak

Uncasville — Clara Helen (Wiercinski) Pietrzak, 91, of Uncasville, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018, at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital.

Clara was born to the late Stanislaw and Antonia (Kupis) Wiercinski on July 28, 1926. Clara was a graduate of WMI High School for girls in New London. Remembered as being a loving homemaker and avid gardener, Clara loved flowers. Clara also loved her family, all whom will miss her dearly.

She is survived by her sons, John F. Pietrzak Jr. of New London and Paul M. Pietrzak of Uncasville, as well as her daughter, Dorothy F. Pietrzak also of Uncasville. Clara is further survived by her granddaughter, Brittany N. Pietrzak of Mannington W.Va.; and by her nieces, Sandra A. and her husband William (Benn) Bullock of East Lyme, Catherine M. Orfall and Blair C. Orfall, both of Oregon, Donna J. Stach of Colorado; and Clara’s nephew, Kevin E. Orfall of Alexandria, Va. Clara was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, John F. Pietrak Sr.; as well as her parents, Antonia (Kupis) and Stanislaw Wiercinski; her stepmother, Mary (Stahalek) Wiercinski; a brother, Frank Wiercinski; and her sisters, Irene MacNair and Catherine Crunk.
